1、幫助老人打掃家園;
2、幫助老人從收容所搬回自己的家園;

Today I have met with Dada Ganadevananda who is directly involved in the coordination of AMURT response in Japan. Dada and an other Margiis volunteer were in these affected areas for the last 3 days, that is: Sendai city, Natori -Sendai Airport, Tagajo - Kesennuma and also tried to visit MinamiSanriku where here 11.000 people are missing and more than 5000 people are waiting for the army to reach them. They also visited some refuges camps and contacting the local government.

At the moment we have to wait and check in a website until the government gives OK to every organization such as our to also do relief work. We have come now to Nagano Jagrti to plan and prepare everything before we head north again. An other Didi and Dada are going to join us tomorrow.

Today we have searched for a roof top carrier and other facilitates to allow us to bring the needed material for the relief work. We will have a few days to prepare everything for what we have planed to do as first steps, such as:
 1. We will help elderly people clean out their homes.
 2. We will help elderly people living in shelters move back to their homes.
 3. We will do psycho-social work (counseling) with people living in the shelters

I have not chance to visit the affected area yet... as there were no bus/train available from Tokyo due to possible nuclear pollution and rescue activities from the Japanese army.

As NPO (Non profit Organization) we are able to get normal gasoline, when to the general people only their provide a regulated amount of it.
On our way back to Nagano, a petrol station was only giving 5 Lt. per car, but we got full tank.

The Japan AMURT team appreciates very much the support and good will of all brothers and sisters in Taiwan!
